Sunrise over Bagan
Bagan, Myanmar
Having woken at an ungodly hour of the morning, ridden rented (and rusting) bicycles from town out to the temples, abandoned one of said bicycles on the side of the road after it got a flat, climbed up the temple in nearly complete darkness and then negotiated the very steep stairs to the top platform, we rested for a moment, watching the cool blue of the night start it's daily retreat as the sun approached.
One of the very few shots I have which actually include (more than a shadow of) myself - reclining in the bottom right of the frame.
